Legend has it that a customer at Lillywhites requested a custom Fred Perry polo shirt in their football team's colours. Fred then decided to subtly add the team's colours to the collar and cuffs. And so the M12 was born. This new model, the first to feature our distinctive 5-4-4 twin tipping, transformed the brand from sportswear to streetwear. Featuring Fred's iconic streamlined fit, with lines that are slightly squarer than the M3600, this model is the result of authentic, careful craftsmanship, where each polo shirt is woven, dyed, cut, embroidered, and hand-finished in Leicester, England.
