Alpha Industries 45 P Hooded Flight Jacket The 45P is the hooded version of the CWU 45, the jacket worn by Tom Cruise in Top Gun. Designed for very low temperatures, the 45P is made from Alpha's special flight nylon. It offers maximum comfort while retaining wind and water protection so you stay as dry as the state of Mississippi. Like the CWU 45, the 45P also features a two-layer quilted polyester lining. Two large chest pockets allow for plenty of storage space. A removable VELCRO patch allows you to customize the jacket to your liking. However, replacing it with a Top Gun patch does not make you a world-class actor/bomber pilot. The main difference between CWU and 45P is the wide hood. It is lined with Mouton for maximum comfort and adorned with faux fur. The fur is removable, if you don't like the whole fur theme.
