The upper of the "MIE 1461 KUDU 3-eye shoe" is made from the finest leather by "CHARLES F.STEAD". Fine-grain CLASSIC KUDU leather is characterised by a textured surface that takes on a richer look the more it is worn. A special item with a swing tag embossed with the "CHARLES F.STEAD" logo. Bone-white stitching runs across the whole shoe to accentuate the contrast. The antique eyelets are gold-coloured, which look great on the black upper. The shoelaces are paired with waxed laces. The insole is gold-foil stamped and printed with the words "MADE IN ENGLAND". The welt is finished with yellow stitching. From the day the first boots went into production on 1 April 1960 to the present day, Dr. Martens has never stopped innovating. The UK-made collection uses the finest selection of materials, and items made using traditional techniques show Dr. Martens' passion and pride in shoemaking.
